Thee Immortals

The Immortals

The Immortals also known as the Persian Immortals was the name given by Herodotus to an elite heavily-armed infantry unit of 10,000 soldiers in the army of the Achaemenid Empire. They were characterized by a number of interesting and unique shields. The collection is inspired by the Violin shield, so called because of its oval shape with circular cutouts on either side gives it the appearance of a violin.
